Are Your Words Worth It?
Certificate in Creative Writing
University of Hull, Scarborough Campus

Tutor-coordinator, Kate Evans

Have you always wanted to become a more creative writer? Do you, perhaps, have unfulfilled ambitions to write stories or poems which you would like to share with a wider audience?

This is a broad introduction to how to get started and how to stay motivated, along with techniques and an exploration of where literature is today and where it might go tomorrow.

It is aimed at relative beginners and those with some experience who may feel stalled and wish to make further progress.

Modules offered: adventures in writing; life memory writing; routefinders; creativity & imagination; genres & techniques; writing for publication.

This won't make you into a published writer, but it will help you become more creative, focussed and accomplished.
