| I
have a Level Two NCFE counselling qualification and have completed my
the third and final year of the Advanced Diploma in Relational Centred
Counselling offered at the Scarborough
Psychotherapy Training Institute. I am now in the last
stages of working towards accreditation. When I work one-to-one with
clients, I encourage an honest relationship to form between us, so
that they feel safe enough to open up and explore what's important to
them. Going at their pace, we spend time together clarifying their
experiences and investigating how they might access their own personal
resources and solutions.
Given my background and experience as a writer and creative writing
facilitator, I am very interested in the link between creativity and
healing. I have over fifteen years of experience of working in the
community with people who are feeling at their most vulnerable.
As well as my training, I receive supervision and am bound by
the code of ethics and professional practice of the Scarborough
Psychotherapy Training Institute.

words: the grief that does not speak,
Whispers the o'er-fraught heart, and bids it break"
